Welcome to the aerodrome of the 1.
						Pułk Lotniczy (1st Aerial Regiment)!

						    Formed in February,
2004, virtual 1. Pułk Lotniczy is the elder Polish
cyber-unit operating in the WWI combat flight sim area.
The unit derives directly from the 1.Eskadra Myśliwska
(1st Fighter Squadron), formed in August, 2001. Three
years after that - the 2. Eskadra Wywiadowcza (2nd
Reconaissance Squadron) was formed and both the units
composed the Regiment. The last, equally important part
of the unit is the Eskadra Szkolna (Training Squadron),
which assures an adequately high level of training for
						all of our personnel.

We began our activity in the legendary “Red Baron II/3D”, for
which we had created our own mod: “WOP1920” (“War Over
Poland”), to eventually switch over to the “Targetware”
flight sim environment and its mod “Richthofen’s Skies”.
The next step was the creation, for the above mentioned
engine, of our own mod – “War Over Poland 1920/1939”,
developed during the 2006-2009 period. Nowadays the
Regiment operates in a new flight simulator called “Rise
of Flight”, released in the summer, 2009, by Neoqb
company (currently 777 Studios). We are about to begin,
to the full possible extent, works on the new release of
the “WOP 1920”, exploiting all the possibilities which
the “Rise of Flight” gives to us.

We are passionate about the Great War and its marvellous,
often forgotten, aircrafts and their brave pilots. To
the equal degree we are fascinated with the history of
Polish Air Forces during the 1918-1939 period. Whenever
possible, we fly with a white-red chessboard on the wing.
We possess our own, unique, painting schemes for the
						aircrafts.

Please, feel free to explore our website.

						Salute!

The High Command and personnel of the 1.Pułk Lotniczy.
